Job Description
The Manager of IST serves as a key administrative partner to the department, responsible for planning and maintaining work systems, procedures, and policies that enable and encourage the optimum performance of its people and other resources within a business unit.
Requirements
- Oversees and manages the evaluation, implementation, analysis, and coordination of IT systems employed by University Hospital
- Identifies opportunities for operating efficiency, cost containment and reduction, outcomes, improved communications, patient care, patient safety and fiscal management that are supported through automated systems
- Partners with senior leadership to ensure that all technology-related policies and guidelines are current
- Leads employees to meet the organization’s expectations for productivity, quality, and goal accomplishment
- Maintains transparent communication; appropriately communicates organizational information through department
- Understands and adheres to University Hospital’s compliance standards as they appear in University Hospital's Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy
