Staff Nurse, Perioperative Services - Main Operating Room

The Staff Nurse, Perioperative Services - Main Operating Room position is responsible for providing high quality nursing care to patients undergoing procedures in a safe and timely manner. The role requires knowledge of AORN Standards of Practice, ANA Standards of Practice, and other relevant standards.

Requirements

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey or eligible for New Jersey license
• Graduate of a School of Nursing
• Adult Medical/Surgical experience preferred
• One to two (1-2) years’ experience in OR Nursing preferred
• BLS required
• Ability to employ problem solving techniques and critical thinking
• Effective interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift and move patients with/without reasonable accommodations
• Ability to organize care/activities of multiple patients
