Job Description
The Credentialing Coordinator will initiate, coordinate, monitor, and maintain the credentialing and re-credentialing of healthcare professionals and allied health staff. This role involves completing credentialing applications, ensuring compliance with regulations, and collaborating with multiple departments to maintain a streamlined and timely process. Responsibilities include verifying background, reporting compliance, and preparing materials for review.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree AND one year of credentialing experience in a managed care setting or experience in the medical field
- Strong administrative skills
- Proven ability to function independently with minimal direct supervision
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
