Assistant Professor, Diagnostic Cytology

The Michener Institute of Education at UHN is seeking a Part-time Assistant Professor, Diagnostic Cytology to provide academic leadership, foster an effective learning environment, and uphold professional, provincial, and national standards.

Requirements

• MLT with a minimum of six years' experience with in-depth expertise in diagnostic cytology
• Bachelors of Science in a related field
• Experience working/teaching in the field within the last 12 months preferred
• Good standing with relevant professional association(s); CSMLS and CMLTO
• Licensure with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologist of Ontario (CMLTO)
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with MS Office, presentation and curriculum design software
• Satisfactory Canadian Police Clearance documents required upon hire
