Job Description
The Michener Institute of Education at UHN is seeking a Casual/Contract Assistant Professor, Chiropody to model and demonstrate best practices in clinical foot care in accordance with College of Chiropodists of Ontario standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for clinical teaching, patient care, and liaising with faculty and staff.
Requirements
- Current registration in good standing with the College of Chiropodist of Ontario
- Degree and/or Masters level education
- Experience working/teaching in field within last 12 months
- Certification by, and membership in OSC and CFPM
- Current CPR and basic first aid
- Current Vulnerability Sector Check
- All immunizations current and up to date
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- An ability to work independently and as part of a team
