Job Description
The Michener Institute is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician to work in their laboratory services department. The successful candidate will supply materials for laboratory exercises, procure and prepare specimens, and participate in biological and chemical safety protocols.
Requirements
- 3 years of related experience
- Certification with the Medical Laboratory Professionals' Association of Ontario (MLPAO) and/or College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario (CMLTO) roster registration
- Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS) preferred
- Sound problem solving and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
- Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
