Medical Radiation Technologist, General Radiography X-Ray (Talent Pool)

Join Medical Imaging at UHN, one of the largest academic medical imaging departments in Canada. The General Radiography team supports imaging services across the hospital serving inpatients, outpatients, and emergency patients. This includes mobile, surgical and intraoperative imaging, as well as fluoro-guided procedures along side radiologists and other specialties.

Requirements

• CMRITO registration
• CAMRT certification with current membership, preferred
• Completion of a BCLS program, Level II: Basic Rescuer certification, with maintenance of certification
• Related technologist experience in a hospital environment, an asset
• Effective time management skills and ability to organize and prioritize work
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work well independently and collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment
• Demonstrated initiative and comfort with decision making including an ability to respond to changing and emergent situations
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Demonstrated good judgement to ensure work is always performed in the best interest and safety of the patient and the team
