Registered Nurse - Neurovascular Unit

The Registered Nurse practices in accordance with relevant legislation/standards, the UHN Professional Practice Model and the mission and vision of nursing at the UHN to provide compassionate, collaborative and competent care. The position is part of the Krembil Brain Institute at Toronto Western Hospital, which is home to one of the world's largest and most comprehensive multidisciplinary teams working to prevent and confront problems of the brain and spine.

Requirements

• Current Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification
• BScN degree preferred
• Coronary Course 1 (CC1) preferred
• Cardiac monitoring skills preferred
• CNA Neuroscience Certification preferred
• Neurovascular experience preferred
• Completion of an Acute Care Course preferred
