The Patient Access Representative serves as the first point of contact for all patients and their families, ensuring accuracy of demographic, insurance, payment and other vital patient information, and supporting the rest of the medical care team.
Requirements
- High School Equivalent / GED
- 1+ years Customer Service experience
- Exceptional communication skills
- Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple responsibilities
- Strong organizational skills
- Problem-solving skills for scheduling conflicts
- Attention to detail to ensure all patient information is accurate
- Compassion to help patients and caregivers in difficult situations
- Understanding of the importance of confidentiality
