Patient Care Nurse Assistant (PCNA) completes patient care activities and provides clerical support as delegated by the RN, performing duties such as ADLs, vital signs, I&O, 12-lead ECG, bladder scan, hygiene, and venipuncture, while maintaining patient records and facilitating communication.
Requirements
- High School Equivalent / GED (Required)
- Experience in a hospital setting (Preferred)
- Basic patient care skills (Preferred proficiency)
- Effective communication with people from varied socioeconomic backgrounds (Required proficiency)
- Basic computer data entry skills (Required proficiency)
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal (Required proficiency)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) (Required within 90 Days)
