Physician - Pediatric Gastroenterology-87110

The Department of Pediatric Gastroenterology at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies and Children's is seeking a Physician to provide direct medical evaluation, diagnosis, procedures, and care for patients. The position offers a competitive salary and academic appointment, rank, and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and primary board certification.

Requirements

• Doctorate Degree in Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy with an unrestricted license
• Appointment with CWRU SOM at the level commensurate with experience
• Fellowship Training in some specialties
• Knowledge of legal and ethical standards for the delivery of medical care
• Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards
• Knowledge of community medical diagnostic and patient care services in area of medical expertise
• Ability to supervise, advise, and train clinical professionals and/or students in area of expertise
• Knowledge of relevant drugs and non-pharmaceutical patient care aids and ability to prescribe dosages and instruct patients in correct usage
• Ability to develop and present educational programs and/or workshops
• Knowledge of current principles, methods and procedures for the delivery of medical evaluation, diagnosis and treatment in area of expertise
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Knowledge of related accreditation and certification requirements
• Ability to observe, assess, and record symptoms, reactions, and progress
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Experience using EPIC
