University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children is seeking a Hospitalist to join their team. The position is available at the level of Clinical Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or full Professor, commensurate with experience. The hospital offers a comprehensive range of pediatric specialty services, a family-centered approach, innovative treatments, and specialized care. The ideal candidate will have a Doctorate Degree in Medicine or Osteopathy, an unrestricted license, and fellowship training in some specialties. The hospital is affiliated with Case Western Reserve University and offers opportunities for academic and research environment, community engagement, and professional development.

Requirements

• Doctorate Degree in Medicine or Osteopathy
• Unrestricted license
• Fellowship training in some specialties
• Knowledge of legal and ethical standards for the delivery of medical care
• Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards
• Knowledge of community medical diagnostic and patient care services in area of medical expertise
• Ability to supervise, advise, and train clinical professionals and/or students in area of expertise
• Knowledge of relevant drugs and non-pharmaceutical patient care aids and ability to prescribe dosages and instruct patients in correct usage
• Ability to develop and present educational programs and/or workshops
• Knowledge of current principles, methods and procedures for the delivery of medical evaluation, diagnosis and treatment in area of expertise
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Knowledge of related accreditation and certification requirements
• Ability to observe, assess, and record symptoms, reactions, and progress
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
