Job Description
The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), Ped - Pulmonary, is seeking a skilled and experienced Scientist I to join their team. The Harris laboratory studies cystic fibrosis (CF) with particular focus on targetable mechanisms of disease heterogeneity or developing novel approaches to therapy in preclinical models.
Requirements
- Doctor of Philosophy, D.V.M. or M.D. degree in a related field
- Two (2) years of related experience
- Excellent cell and molecular biologist
- Autonomous, diligent, dependable, inquisitive, fastidious
- Calm, excellent communicator, reliable, affable, flexible
- Ability to generate reproducible data, then analyze, summarize, and present the results
