Job Description
The Student Affairs Specialist II is responsible for coordinating administrative, personnel, and logistical support for ongoing department programs or offices, producing programs and activities for students, mentoring students, and collaborating with other university entities to produce programs for students and assist with educational outcomes for non-academic conduct situations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Social Sciences or a related field
- Two (2) years of related experience
- Master's degree with a concentration in College Student Personnel, Higher Education Administration, Leadership or a related field (preferred)
- Exemplary organizational skills with a strong emphasis on details
- Experience in planning programs and events
- Ability to present workshops and training sessions
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer skills using Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, and the Engage platform
