Job Description
The Extra Help/McNair Scholars Research Assistants are students who assist their research mentor with original research projects within the McNair Scholars Program. Qualifications include being a UALR student with at least junior classification and being fully accepted in the UALR McNair Scholars Program.
Requirements
- Must be a student at UALR with at least junior classification (60 hours or more)
- Must be fully accepted in the UALR McNair Scholars Program
- Propose an original research project that can be reasonably completed in the designated time frame
- Complete said research project, with the guidance of a UALR faculty mentor
- Stay up-to-date on CITI training and adhere to UALR IRB expectations
