Genetic Pathologist - Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor

We are seeking a Genetic Pathologist to support the clinical accreditation and delivery of next-generation sequencing (NGS) tests in both germline and somatic contexts. This role is a joint opportunity in partnership with Te Toka Tumai Auckland Hospital (Health New Zealand/Te Whatu Ora).

Requirements

• Experience in both somatic and germline genetic pathology
• Expertise in NGS test design, validation, and implementation
• A strong academic track record in research and/or teaching
• Ability to contribute to Molecular Tumour Boards and genetic multidisciplinary team meetings
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across research, clinical, and academic environments
