Research Operations Coordinator for MĀPIHI Māori and Pacific Housing Research Centre

The University of Auckland is seeking a Research Operations Coordinator to join the MĀPIHI Māori and Pacific Housing Research Centre. The role involves providing operational, administrative, and coordination support to the Centre's Directors, Research Operations Manager, and researchers, and contributing to research that has real-world impact. The successful candidate will be an organised, proactive, and approachable professional with strong coordination skills and attention to detail.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant tertiary qualification
• 3–4 years' experience in research administration, project coordination, or operational support within a complex organisation
• Experience supporting financial, contractual, or reporting processes
• Proven customer service and stakeholder engagement experience
• Strong organisational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Confidence using Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel
