Job Description
The University of Central Florida (UCF) Libraries invites applications for two full-time, 12-month, non-tenure track faculty positions at the rank of Assistant Librarian. These curious, creative, and forward-thinking professionals will serve as an Embedded Librarian for academic programs in the College of Arts & Humanities (CAH) or the College of Health Professions & Sciences (CHPS) on UCFâs main campus in Orlando, Florida.
Requirements
- Provides robust research support to students and faculty of CAH or CHPS, including serving as embedded librarian for campus-based courses as requested;
- Collaborates with faculty to provide library instruction to CAH or CHPS students, including providing virtual and face-to-face library instruction;
- Conducts outreach to CAH or CHPS students and faculty regarding library services;
- Implements innovative practices and ideas based on emerging trends in educational fields and in academic libraries;
