Job Description
The Clinical Sr. Research Assistant will oversee key aspects of clinical research studies, including subject recruitment, data collection, and the development and maintenance of databases. The role also involves data analysis to interpret findings and contribute to the preparation of scientific manuscripts for publication.
Requirements
- Develops epidemiology questionnaires and study protocols.
- Builds and maintains databases using REDCap.
- IRB preparation.
- Subject recruitment and data collection.
- Reviews and collects clinical and laboratory results from EPIC.
- Performs data analysis for progress report.
- Contributes to the preparation of scientific manuscripts for publication.
- Provides general administrative support (e.g., literature reviews, study reports, etc.).
- Performs all tasks in basic clinical studies.
- Assists with and performs various administrative and operational tasks as assigned under direct supervision.
- Supports quality assurance reviews conducted by study sponsors, federal agencies, or specially designated review groups.
- Acquires and applies knowledge of clinical studies to collect analyzable clinical research data and/or samples.
- Performs other related work as needed.
