Police Officer II, Non-Certified

The Police Officer II, Non-Certified position performs assigned duties under direction of experienced personnel to gain knowledge and experience required to become a Certified Police Officer. The role involves conducting routine patrols, investigating criminal activity, enforcing traffic regulations, and responding to emergencies.

Requirements

• Safely operate department equipment on patrol
• Make periodic interior and exterior premise checks of University grounds
• Assist with investigations of suspicious persons, places or things
• Prepare clear, accurate, and complete reports and document activities
• Obey lawful orders of superiors
• Perform tasks and duties assigned by supervisor or shift supervisor
