Job Description
DIL is seeking a full-time Research Manager to work with the faculty director and other researchers on development economics research projects, managing scientific research projects, and building out the Lab's research systems.
Requirements
- Implementation of DIL's research in development economics
- Management of research and build out of research systems
- Co-development and management of a small portfolio of development economics research projects
- Data collection, evaluation, and analysis for DIL development economics projects
- Conducting literature reviews
- Reviewing research ethics (IRB) applications
- Management of junior research staff
- Recruitment and training of new DIL research staff
- Research communications with DIL partners and internal stakeholders
- Management of high-level research partnerships
- Development and management of research project budgets
- Recruitment of top research talent globally
- Organizing research events
- Complex problem-solving and project administration
- Data collection, evaluation, and analysis
- Database management
- Writing reports, articles, and manuscripts
