Job Description
The Research Specialist will assist the PI with day-to-day operations of funded projects that involve working with LGBTQ and criminal justice involved individuals. They will oversee 1-2 research projects with some oversight from the Research Manager.
Requirements
- Supporting recruitment, screening for eligibility, consenting community members
- Delivering assessments, interventions, controls
- Supporting data entry and analysis
- Assist with the development of study implementation protocols
- Offering referrals to service programming when appropriate
- Conducting literature reviews and support manuscript and grant writing
- Depending on skill set, may engage in data management and analysis
- Support evening and weekend events for when research is requested on site
- Assists with and performs various administrative and operational tasks under direct supervision
- Participates in the daily activities of moderately complex clinical studies and performs various activities including patient data retrieval, documenting clinical research records, and participation in program audits
