Job Description
The University of Chicago is seeking a staff scientist to advance plasma proteomics research and/or spatial proteomics in the Kenny/Lengyel laboratory, which studies the biology of ovarian cancer. Requirements
- Train, mentor, and supervise laboratory personnel
- Lead collaborative efforts to optimize proteomics methods
- Serve as the primary contact for proteomics related collaborations
- Ensure compliance of all research activities with institutional, state, and federal regulatory requirements
- Review and refine laboratory protocols
- Manage complex, high dimensional research datasets
- Lead and support scientific writing efforts
- Contribute to proofreading, fact checking, and scientific editing of manuscripts, grant applications, and professional presentations
