Job Description
The University of Guelph invites applications for a tenure-track or tenured position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in Veterinary Anatomic Pathology. The ideal candidate will have a doctoral degree, experience teaching veterinary anatomic pathology, and research experience. They will be expected to develop an independent research program suitable for graduate student education up to the doctoral level, supported by independent and/or collaborative funding.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent veterinary degree
- Advanced training in veterinary anatomic pathology
- Board certification or eligibility for certification by the American College of Veterinary Pathologists (ACVP) or European College of Veterinary Pathologists (ECVP)
- Eligibility for licensure by the College of Veterinarians of Ontario
- Experience teaching veterinary anatomic pathology
- Research experience
- Strong skills in diagnostic anatomic pathology
- Effective teaching skills in various aspects of anatomic pathology
