The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Pulmonary Critical Care and Sleep Medicine is recruiting an Assistant Professor with expertise in the respiratory field and acute/chronic lung injury.
Requirements
- PhD, MD, or equivalent
- 3 years of experience in basic/translational research in respiratory field
- Conduct respiratory basic/translational research, acute/chronic lung injury, as Principal/Co-Investigator
- Train and educate students, residents, fellows, and faculty in a research setting
- Obtain extramural/internal grant funding to support laboratory/research team
- Mentoring and evaluating students, fellows, and faculty, as well as participating in weekly lectures and discussion groups
- Representation of the University at national and international conferences
