Job Description
Assists physicians and nursing staff in patient care, performs various patient care activities, and maintains front desk and clerical duties in a medical office.
Requirements
- Gathers and documents brief history and chief complaint in the medical record
- Follows established guidelines to obtain necessary testing based on the chief complaint prior to the exam
- Performs routine office testing, including phlebotomy, sweat and hydration tests, urinalysis, vision testing, hearing screening, pulmonary function testing, temperature, pulse and blood pressure
- Assists provider with procedures and minor surgical procedures
- Exhibits compassion and empathy for all patients and families at all times
