Assistant Professor of Clinical - Medicine, Infectious Disease

The Assistant Professor of Clinical will have clinical and research responsibilities within the Department of Medicine, with a focus on the care and treatment of adult patients with infectious diseases. This includes outpatient care, inpatient attending responsibilities, and education of medical students, residents, and fellows.

Requirements

• Awarded degree of M.D. or D.O. and completed infectious diseases fellowship from an ABIM recognized fellowship program.
• Valid American Board Certification in Internal Medicine
• Valid and unrestricted Florida Medical License or eligible to apply
• Board Certified/Board Eligible for Infectious Diseases
• Completion of required clinical training as above
• Must maintain CME to meet institutional and state licensing requirements.
• Must have excellent clinical knowledge and experience to provide safe and quality care to patients and meet institutional standards of care.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with staff, patients, and family members.
• Must demonstrate the ability to meet responsibilities of the position
