Assistant Professor of Clinical - Ophthalmology, General/Comprehensive

The Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine is seeking exceptional candidates to join the faculty as an Assistant Professor of Clinical in Ophthalmology. The position requires providing ophthalmology medical and surgical services, educating residents and medical students, and developing a regional and national presence as a clinical leader.

Requirements

• Provide ophthalmology medical and surgical services as needed
• Be active in the education of residents and medical students
• Maintain high clinical quality, productivity and citizenship within the department
• Represent the department with clinicians, trainees, and staff
• Develop referral and educational relationships within the University of Miami Health System and with other practices
• Develop a regional and national presence as a clinical leader
• Develop, maintain and, as appropriate, secure funding for academic/research activities
• Perform administrative and committee responsibilities as assigned
