Job Description
The Department of Dermatology is seeking Medical Assistants to assist in the examination and treatment of patients, under the direction of a physician. Responsibilities include giving injections and treatments, performing routine laboratory tests, and maintaining accurate patient records.
Requirements
- Active National or Statewide Certifications
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Valid HIV/AIDS 2-hour course completion certificate
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-4 years of previous experience (depending on level of certification)
