Manager, Facilities & Operations

The University of Miami is seeking a Manager, Facilities & Operations to oversee the maintenance, repair, and renovation of assigned University facilities and related equipment, ensuring efficient completion and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Certification and Licensing: As required by federal/state/local code depending on the area of oversight
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of business and management principles
• Ability to direct, manage, implement, and evaluate department operations
• Ability to establish department goals and objectives that support the strategic plan
• Ability to effectively plan, delegate and/or supervise the work of others
• Ability to lead, motivate, develop and train others
