Manager, Healthcare Risk Management

The Manager, Risk Management supervises the activities of the risk management programs, implements risk management monitors, and coordinates risk control, reduction, and prevention programs for the University of Miami Healthcare System. The incumbent runs the risk management program with the goal of minimizing the risk of injuries and adverse events to patients.

Requirements

• Investigates and analyzes the frequency and cause of events causing injury to patients
• Assists and directs the coordination and maintenance of the event reporting system
• Provides and directs basic and complex preventive risk management assessment(s) of processes, procedures, and programs
