The College of Engineering of the University of Miami is seeking a Professor in Practice of Civil and Architectural Engineering at all ranks. The position involves a primary teaching role and participation in departmental and university service, with an emphasis on research related to engineering education and applied building systems.

Requirements

• Earned BS, MS and PhD degrees in civil or architectural engineering or a closely related engineering discipline
• Professional Engineering license or ability to obtain Professional Engineering licensure within 2 years
• 3 years of experience in industry and/or engineering education
• Demonstrated ability in communication, interpersonal skills, collaboration, leadership, and student motivation
