Job Description
The University of Minnesota is seeking a visionary faculty physician with expertise in non-malignant (benign) hematology to join the Division of Hematology, Oncology & Transplantation. The position is available at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor and comes with opportunities for exceptional clinical care, innovative research, and a passion for mentorship and medical education.
Requirements
- Demonstrated excellence in clinical care of patients with benign hematologic disorders
- Strong teaching skills and enthusiasm for academic medicine
- Evidence of research productivity or interest in developing academic focus (clinical, translational, or basic science)
- Graduate of an accredited ACGME Internal Medicine residency and Hematology fellowship-training program
- Board eligible/certified in Hematology
- Licensed or ability to acquire medical license and DEA in the State of Minnesota, and meet threshold criteria/qualifications for credentialing and privileges
- Ability to receive work authorization in the United States from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and maintain legal status according to the requirements of the VISA
