Patient Account Representative

Perform patient financial service functions such as scanning, filing, receiving and reviewing correspondence, reviewing third-party and patient billing, and review and resolution of billing questions at an introductory level. Ensures financial success for University of Mississippi Medical Center through diligent approach to work and attention to detail.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• One (1) year of related revenue cycle experience
• Knowledge of ICD-10/HCPCS/CPT coding
• Basic knowledge of third-party insurance and government insurance plans
