Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience
- Demonstrated experience and expertise in student engagement, education, advocacy, counseling, advising, coaching, or other student-centered work
- Strong writing, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
- Able to develop rapport and build trust with a diverse range of individuals
- Strong record of using data to inform program design and improvement
- Requires strong skills in advising, coordinating, group learning, public speaking, and teaching
- Knowledgeable of opportunity programs such as Higher Education Opportunity Program, TRiO and other college access programs
- Experience in crisis intervention preferred
- Experience building relationships with external/community partners preferred
- Verbal and written communications skills in English and Spanish preferred
