Laboratory Technician 1 - Physiology and Cell Biology

The University of Nevada, Reno is seeking applications for a Laboratory Technician 1 in the Physiology and Cell Biology department. The position is responsible for assisting with research needs, including mouse husbandry, genotyping, and organizing breeding schemes, and assisting in the purchasing, cataloging, and maintenance of reagent inventory.

Requirements

• Graduation from high school or equivalent education
• Two (2) years of laboratory experience performing various laboratory procedures
• Pursuant to NRS 284.4066, some positions in this series have been identified as affecting public safety
