The Student Worker- Summer Conference Assistant position supports the Summer Conference Team in managing clients’ portfolios, room placements, and communication. The ideal candidate has strong written and verbal communication skills, is detail-oriented, and can handle confidential information with discretion. The role involves assisting with room placements, drafting communications, preparing key envelopes, and serving as a backup for the front desk team.
Requirements
- Assist with the placements of our summer conference client portfolio account
- Help update and maintain client’s housing records and databases
- Create summer conference client’s labels & key envelopes to be ready for check in
- Assist with the check in process for our Summer Conference Clients
- Draft and review housing communications such as email templates, FAQs, and guides with a client-focused tone
- Answer client inquiries regarding housing applications, placements, and timelines in person, via phone, and email
- Serve as a backup for the front desk team, greeting visitors, answering phones, and helping with general housing inquiries
- Assist with writing up assignments for summer staff
- Summer staff training support
- Support office projects for summer conferences and other duties as assigned
- Act as a backup tour guide for prospective students and their families
- Help promote a positive and welcoming environment during housing tours
