Job Description
A regular part-time professor position is available to teach a course on elementary mathematics education, with a focus on the Ontario curriculum and supporting diverse student needs. The course will cover topics such as lesson planning, teaching strategies, and technology integration. The successful candidate will have a master's degree in education, with a preference for a doctorate. They will also have recent experience in full-time teaching or administration, including 2 years of implementing the Ontario curriculum in a related subject area.
Requirements
- Master's degree in education
- Recent experience in full-time teaching or administration
- Knowledge of the Ontario curriculum and ministry documents related to the course subject area
- Ability to apply professional standards and the Code of Conduct of the Ontario College of Teachers
