The Common Law Section is seeking candidates who have the expertise, skills, vision, and energy to reinforce uOttawa’s position as a leader in graduate education in law.

Requirements

• LL.B., J.D., or equivalent
• Membership in the Law Society of Ontario, or equivalent, in good standing
• Extensive knowledge and experience in legal research and writing at the graduate level
• Knowledge mobilization and interdisciplinary research
• Familiarity with basic concepts of the Canadian legal systems, civil law and common law
• Prior teaching experience in those areas and teaching experience at the graduate level
