Job Description
Intermediate Software Developer, Workday position at the University of Ottawa. Reporting to the Senior Manager, IT Infrastructure and Systems, evaluates user business and software requirements and develops new or enhance existing computer applications. The position involves analysis, design, development, testing, documentation, deployment, maintenance, project management, and continuous improvement of software systems.
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the development and implementation of system and software programs
- Knowledge of University policies, guidelines and standards regarding system and software development and deployment
- Knowledge of programming tools, languages, techniques and industry standards and best practices
- Experience in troubleshooting and repairing programs
- Analytical skills to diagnose debug and repair programming issues
- Bilingualism - both French and English (spoken and written)
