Research Specialist

A research technician position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Kara Bernstein in the Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics. We use live-cell imaging, genetic, biochemical, and molecular biological approaches to study mechanisms of DNA repair and recombination.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree
• 0 to 1 year of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• One to two years of experience working in a laboratory preferred
• Experience working with S. cerevisiae, biochemistry, or tissue culture preferred
