Job Description
The Research Specialist B performs experiments using a variety of techniques and assists the principal investigator with set-up of new laboratory space, including ordering, set-up and maintenance of supplies and equipment, and assistance with transfer of laboratory protocols, laboratory website, and other new lab logistics as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science and 1 to 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
- Assist the principal investigator with set-up of new laboratory space
- Perform experiments using a variety of techniques
- Troubleshoot problems, analyze data, design new research experiments, and prepare presentations
