The Physician provides Direct and Indirect Patient Care and other related work as required by department/unit leader. Provides and manages direct and indirect Patient Care and other related work as required by the Chief Medical Director or Medical Director at the USC Culinary Health Center. The Physician provides Direct and Indirect Patient Care and other related work as required by CMO at Durango Clinic.
Requirements
- Provides and manages direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses and treatment for a specified patient population.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date medical records and prepares reports, as needed.
- Counsels on medical and/or psychological problems and may counsel patients on personal problems and health measures.
- Prescribes pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions.
- Reviews history, examination and treatment plan made by physician assistants / nurse practitioners.
- Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards.
- Participates in specified health promotion, education and/or prevention programs.
- Maintains professional affiliations, licenses, certifications, etc.
- Covers after hours calls as needed.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

- Annual base salary range for this position is $205,712.00 - $339,425.00
