Director of Development – Office of Advancement

The University of Tampa’s Office of Advancement is seeking an accomplished Director of Development to join its dynamic and growing team. The Director of Development will manage and engage a portfolio of major gift prospects and donors, cultivating meaningful relationships, and securing gifts of $25,000 and above in support of the University’s top priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum seven (7) years of progressive success in individual major gift fundraising, preferably in higher education.
• Demonstrated experience securing individual gifts of $25,000+.
• Minimum five (5) years of supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
• Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel regularly, including some evenings and weekends.
• Proficiency with fundraising databases; Raiser’s Edge experience highly preferred.
