Job Description
Unto Labs is seeking a Platform/DevOps Engineer to own the infrastructure our engineering team builds on, ensuring reliability, performance, and cost-effectiveness. This high-impact role involves optimizing CI/CD pipelines, deployment infrastructure, observability, and developer tooling.
Requirements
- 3+ years in platform engineering, DevOps, SRE, or related infra roles
- Strong experience with CI/CD systems, including self-hosted runners and cost tracking
- Deep knowledge of GCP (Cloud Run, Compute Engine, GCS, IAM) or equivalent AWS platforms
- Skilled in Docker/containerization and orchestration
- Experience building observability stacks—logging, tracing, alerting (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Datadog, or similar)
- Familiarity with DNS, TLS, load balancing, and proxy concepts
- Proficient scripting in Bash, Python, or Go for automation
