Job Description
This company is seeking a highly analytical Estimator / Quoting Specialist to prepare accurate estimates for projects, analyze metrics, and assess risk. The ideal candidate will possess strong mathematical and accounting skills, knowledge of data analysis methods, and excellent communication and organizational skills.
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, bills of materials and work instructions.
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) desirable.
- Proficiency with Excel and ERP databases required.
- Experience with Solidworks, MasterCAM, PC-DMIS and/or Vericut desirable.
- Machine shop experience quoting prototype and production precision parts with outside processing.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Good judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Organization and time management skills required.
- Familiarity with the principles of Lean Manufacturing.
- Ability to follow safety rules and procedures relating to business and quality processes.
