The University of Birmingham is seeking a Quality Officer to support the quality assurance of education provision for all students in the College of Medicine and Health. The role will provide robust assurance that internal and external standards have been met, and will report into the Head of Ops (QA).
Requirements
- Qualified to UK level 5 (e.g. Foundation degree, HND) or equivalent
- Relevant experience of working in Higher Education
- Understanding of the institutional structures and ways of working in a College or School
- Strong understanding of quality assurance processes
- Knowledge of student evaluation processes
- Knowledge and experience of servicing committees or reviews
- Knowledge and experience of communications
- Working knowledge of standard Microsoft Office software
- Knowledge of the protected characteristics of the Equality Act 2010, and how to actively ensure in day to day activity in own area that those with protected characteristics are treated equally and fairly
