Senior Education Support Administrator - College of Medicine and Health - 54712 - Grade 5

The University of Birmingham has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Education Support Administrator to join their diverse and vibrant Education support teams. The role will involve providing expert guidance and advice to students and staff, and supporting the successful delivery of academic programmes. The successful candidate will have substantial professional experience in a variety of similar roles, and will be comfortable working in a role where they take significant responsibility and propose new ways of working.

Requirements

• Level 3 qualifications
• GCSEs to a minimum of grade C/4 in English and Mathematics
• A levels or an equivalent level 3 qualification
• Substantial professional experience in a variety of similar roles
• Ability to work on your own initiative and take significant responsibility
• Ability to become authoritative quickly on complex systems and advise colleagues
• Ability to set the standard for other colleagues and coach staff as appropriate
• Good communication and delegation skills
• Ability to prioritize work and work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and supervise and support the work of other team members
