RECE - Full Time & Casual Supply

Upper Canada Child Care is recruiting Registered Early Childhood Educator(s) or equivalent to join their team in North York. The role involves delivering a developmentally appropriate program, ensuring compliance with internal and external guidelines, and supporting the organization's vision and mission.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education (or approved equivalency) from a recognized college or university.
• Recent Police Vulnerable Sector Check.
• At least 18 years of age or older due to licensing requirements.
• Health assessment and up-to-date record of immunization as outlined by legislation.
• Up-to-date registration with the College of ECEs (if applicable).
• Up-to-date certification in CPR-C and Standard First Aid (training provided upon selection if required).
• Experience with inquiry/play based program design and implementation, and with the use of pedagogical documentation.
• Ability to communicate (written and verbal) effectively and establish appropriate relationships with families, coworkers and other professionals.
• Physical and emotional stamina to effectively supervise children in a variety of settings including outdoor public spaces.
