Startup Scout

As a Startup Scout, you move within the startup environment and find relevant startups with potential. This creates the first point of contact for your team and makes you an expert when it comes to promising collaborations. You actively help build the innovation ecosystem and play a central role in it.

Your Tasks

• You identify emerging trends, business models, technologies, and market opportunities as well as shifts in customer behavior.
• You take the evaluation and prioritization of new business model, product, and service innovations.
• You develop all scouting roadmaps tailored to the innovation strategy and a comprehensive trend radar.
• You drive the active networking with relevant market players.
• You build together with the team an internal scouting approach to simplify access for startups and potential cooperation partners.

Your Profile

• You have an academic degree, ideally in the field of innovation management or similar education.
• You have ideal first experience in the fields of innovation, research, trend scouting, and in the area of (corporate) venture, venture development or startups.
• You have a strong affinity to trends, innovations, and technologies.
• You are at home in the startup world: a brilliant networker with travel readiness and excellent communication skills.
• You are an entrepreneur and a thinker who brings topics to the street with his or her hands-on mentality.
• You bring practice or professional experience.
• You have a self-assured and sympathetic appearance.
• You stand for a well-groomed appearance.
